interact SMKDP history The Interact Club of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Desa Perdana was established on the 3rd of March 1997. Interactor Martin Tan Eng Kim was the first President of when the club was established. On June 11th 1997, the founding committee board of the Interact Club was invited to a meeting with Rotary Club or Brickfields. At the end of the meeting, the Rotary Club of Brickfields agreed to take the Interact Club of SMK Desa Perdana under its wings and to sponsor the club.  activities Throughout the years, the Interact Club of SMK Desa Perdana has organize countless activities which are not only beneficial to the school but as well as the community as a whole. Activities such as fund-raisers are being held annually. The profits gained from these events are used for charity works. This shows that the Interactors apply to the motto, ‘Service Above Self’ in their everyday lives and hold it close to their hearts by helping others who are less fortunate. These projects are carried out by the Interactors with the proper guidance from their teacher advisor and the Rotary Club of Brickfields. board of directors 2007/2008 The Board of Directors for the year 2007/2008 hopes that the Interact Club of SMK Desa Perdana will continue to help the community in anyway possible. We will try our best and strive to achieve more goals in the future. The committee would to take this opportunity to thank our teacher advisor, Mrs Ti for her guidance and dedication to the Interact Club.
